1. General
By purchasing goods or services from Aware Technology (“we”, “our”, “us”), you (“the customer”) agree to these Terms and Conditions of Sale. These terms apply to all computer sales, related hardware, software, and IT services.
2. Orders and Payment
• Full payment is required before goods are released unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Payment can be made by cash or bank transfer,
• Quotes are valid for 7 days unless otherwise stated. Deposit of 50% required prior to supply of any goods over $250.00.
• Title of goods remains with Aware Technology until payment is received in full.
3. Delivery & Pickup
• Customer purchases will be delivered or freighted using pre-agreed couriers r postal service (additional charges may apply for postage and freight services).
• We are not liable for delivery delays caused by third parties.
• Risk of loss or damage passes to the customer once goods are collected or delivered.
4. Returns & Refunds
• Refunds are given in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
• We do not offer refunds for change of mind.
• If a product is faulty or not as described, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund.
• All returns must be accompanied by proof of purchase and returned in original condition.
5. Warranty
• New computers come with manufacturer warranties (typically 12–24 months). Extended warranties may be available.
• Aware Technology provides a 30-day warranty on used/refurbished computers unless otherwise specified.
• Warranty excludes damage due to misuse, liquid, software corruption, viruses, or unauthorised repair.
6. Software Licensing
• All software provided must be properly licensed. We are not responsible for how customers use third-party software after purchase.
• We do not support pirated or unlicensed software.
7. Technical Support & Services
• Services are billed at our current hourly rate unless part of a flat-rate package.
• Best efforts will be made to resolve issues, but we do not guarantee specific outcomes for software, hardware, or internet issues outside our control.
• Data loss is always a risk during repairs — customers are responsible for data backup prior to service. We offer backup services upon request.
8. Limitation of Liability
• To the extent permitted by law, Aware Technology is not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
• Our liability is limited to the replacement, repair, or refund of goods or services as provided under Australian Consumer Law.
9. Privacy
• We only collect customer data necessary to process transactions and provide support.
• Customer information is stored securely and never shared without consent, except as required by law.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia. Any disputes will be handled in local jurisdiction.
